Destrian Walking Police
Destral's police force were the Destrian Walking Police, a group of urban rangers who patrolled the streets to ensure Destral remained peaceful. They were equipped with telescopic stilts that allowed them to quickly ascend from ground level to the roofs of 1-story buildings with ease, aiding them in chasing criminals through Destral's often cramped streets and alleys. ^dwp
The DWP were known to wield telescopic mancatchers, net launchers, various firearms, and crossbows. In 274, DWP training underwent a major shift to accommodate the usage of fenris weapons[^1].
[^1]: The fenris was a magazine-fed warbow developed to increase the efficacy of common bowmen. Like advanced Legerian firearms, the fenris allowed a ranged combatant to quickly send projectiles at opponents at the cost of needing to reload, eventually. It was originally invented by Aubrey S. Archer, and was distributed to the DWP by Cyrus Isaac Vandervitch III.
